Radiology - Operations Manager - Danbury Hospital Outpatient

Summary

Manages the daily operations of the department and supervises staff to include; training, development, hiring and performance assessment. In collaboration with the Director develops, implements and monitors systems, policies and procedures to maintain and improve quality, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operations of the outpatient center including administrative, financial, compliance and technical components.
• Supervises staff to include; training, development, hiring and performance assessment.
• Insures compliance with all regulatory agency requirements including Joint Commission, ACR, and State of Connecticut.
• Prepares and monitors budgets, inventory and purchasing of supplies. Implements cost control measures.
• Responsible for overseeing operation of information management systems, including PACS and Cerner RIS.
• Identifies need for and coordinates training of technical and support staff as needed.
• Develops and implements an on-going marketing and public relations program.
• Coordinates Performance Improvement activities.
• In collaboration with the Director, develops and implements policies and procedures to insure quality, compliance, safety and customer service.
• Monitors financial status, billing, reimbursement and compliance.
• Insures safe environment for staff and patients.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education: ASSOCIATE'S LVL DGRE

Other Information

Required: Minimum three years job-related supervisory experience.

Minimum Experience: five years

Desired: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Financial and billing background.
