Radiology - Operations Manager - Danbury Hospital Outpatient
Summary
Manages the daily operations of the department and supervises staff to include; training, development, hiring and performance assessment. In collaboration with the Director develops, implements and monitors systems, policies and procedures to maintain and improve quality, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Summary

Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations of the outpatient center including administrative, financial, compliance and technical components.
- Supervises staff to include; training, development, hiring and performance assessment.
- Insures compliance with all regulatory agency requirements including Joint Commission, ACR, and State of Connecticut.
- Prepares and monitors budgets, inventory and purchasing of supplies. Implements cost control measures.
- Responsible for overseeing operation of information management systems, including PACS and Cerner RIS.
- Identifies need for and coordinates training of technical and support staff as needed.
- Develops and implements an on-going marketing and public relations program.
- Coordinates Performance Improvement activities.
- In collaboration with the Director, develops and implements policies and procedures to insure quality, compliance, safety and customer service.
- Monitors financial status, billing, reimbursement and compliance.
- Insures safe environment for staff and patients.
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
