MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
This is a Planning Manager role focused on establishing best practice process and tools for the global supply planning organization. This role will also provide oversight on top division products end-to-end from external procurement or internal manufacturing of raw materials, sub-components and finished goods through Distribution network and customer need. They will achieve this objective by balancing several dynamic and conflicting elements including cycle time management, inventory management, capacity planning, distressed inventory management, technical challenges, and productivity while maintaining the highest level of compliance. Planning manager will enable tools for Global supply planners to utilize to make good business decisions. Manager will help also drive improvements in how we communicate tradeoffs of decisions, risks, and elevations in key forums within the integrated business planning process.

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving, implementing and supporting supply planning activities along with optimization of the global supply chain strategies across the entire supply chain including Internal Manufacturing sites and Third-Party Manufacturers.
- Consolidates, reviews, and approves information required for Financial plans and updates. Sets strategic and tactical direction for management of planning factors that are in line with divisional inventory and Financial goals. Supports key Financial strategies for establishing annual product standard costs, annual production volumes, quarterly latest best estimates (LBEs) and distress inventory management and mitigation.
- Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in production, supply and logistics, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, or human resources) to integrate their activities into productions plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Take a leadership role in the implementation of new systems to support planning tactical activities and reporting
- At times, they will serve as liaison on communications between functions on issues or opportunities that arise.
- Develops and tracks goals and objectives to assure annual improvements in operational performance, product quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Establishes effective measurement systems for supply chain performance to assure meeting of quality, customer and cost expectations.
