The research group led by Professor Min Chen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position. The successful candidate will contribute to research investigating the impacts of climate policy and dietary transitions on the future of the U.S. dairy industry. The position is particularly suited to individuals with expertise in climate modeling, food systems analysis, or integrated assessment models such as GCAM.

Requirements

– Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Agricultural Economics, Earth System Modeling, or a related field

– Demonstrated experience with climate or food systems modeling

– Familiarity with integrated assessment models (e.g., GCAM) is highly desirable

– Strong quantitative and analytical skills

– Effective communication and teamwork abilities
