About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Manager to support the Product Development team. This role is critical to the successful commercialization of both new innovation and renovation projects. You will manage technical documentation, oversee digital systems, support raw material and BOM documentation, and play a key role in packaging coordination and regulatory submissions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in dietary supplements, quality assurance, or product development, with a strong background in systems such as Unifize, SpecRight, or TraceGains. Additionally, this role will oversee one direct report, taking responsibility for their training, development, coaching, and administrative support.



What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the Project Lead for Unifize and SpecRight, managing system functionality, user access, maintenance, and training
  • Oversee UPC and SKU creation for all new product innovations and renovations
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Finished Good Specifications (FGS)
  • Lead internal document coordination with contract manufacturers and vendors
  • Manage raw material documentation, including COAs, specs, allergen forms, and vendor certifications
  • Support packaging selection and fill tests for new innovation
  • Manage product announcements and collaborate with cross-functional partners on launch planning
  • Develop and maintain internal product mockups for retailer and internal use
  • Lead UL WERCSmart submissions to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist with Change Control documentation and manage required updates
  • Partner with Supply Chain to qualify and track alternate materials
  • Lead prioritization and oversight of label management, including task allocation, training, and quality control
  • Oversee coordination with external label design consultants and support their workflow management

Experience Required:

  • 4+ years in the dietary supplement, wellness, or CPG industry
  • Background in quality systems, product development, or technical documentation
  • Hands-on experience with BOM management, supplier documentation, and system implementations
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Unifize, TraceGains, SpecRight
  • Experience working with regulatory requirements and label compliance workflows
