We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join a leading healthcare network as a Lead Business Development Representative. This individual will serve as the lead for a key service line driving business development initiatives and managing high-impact growth strategies across designated territories. The role plays a pivotal function in building relationships with both new and established healthcare providers to increase patient referrals and promote organizational offerings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing market strategies, engaging with physician groups, and collaborating with internal and external partners to increase brand awareness and patient volume within the region.

  • Build relationships with the physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities’ management, discharge planners, and case managers to promote our homecare services for Medicare and Personal Care Services.
  • Conduct in-services, presentations, educational, host and attend relevant events by introducing our home health care services to physicians, patients, their families, facility staff and other referral sources.
  • Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.
  • Ability to perform an initial territory market analysis and required business development plans quarterly/annually. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating all marketing/sales activities for the company services.
  • Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.
  • Successfully maintain current relationships with referral sources. Meet regularly with the clinical team.
  • Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams resulting in continued census growth.
  • Maintains knowledge of Medicare and State specific home health care regulations.
  • Obtains physician's order for specified treatments and participates in the referral process.
  • Prepare business plans and maintain target lists. Prioritize accounts in accordance with the market sales plan.
  • Gather and organize account-related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions and proposal or contract pricing.


Required Qualifications:

  • Two years’ home health care or related industry sales experience generally required.
  • Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.
  • Previous healthcare sales experience preferred such as selling in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), DME, ortho, cardio, etc. OR previous experience as a clinical liaison preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
