As the Senior HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in managing daily HR operations, supporting talent development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You'll be a trusted advisor to our leadership team, driving improvements in HR processes and enhancing the employee experience. As the Senior HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in managing daily HR operations, supporting talent development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on employee relations, organizational changes, and talent development strategies.
- Lead employee engagement and cultural initiatives that strengthen retention and alignment with our values.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, from open enrollment to vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, keeping policies up to date with the latest legal requirements.
- Conduct site visits across multiple Illinois locations (Shorewood, Burr Ridge, Chicago).
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and compliance.
- 8-10 years of experience as an HR Generalist (preferably in Construction/Utility industries).
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM or similar HR certification required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Paycom or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
- Ability to travel to our various Illinois locations.
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
