The position requires in-depth knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle. The successful engineer will be able to:

• Looking for DevOps engineer, needs experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Plan and design the DevOps workflow, to include the full SDLC
• Automate and include the Cyber Security (DevSecOps) in the full DevOps pipeline
• Strong background in Test automation and its inclusion in DevOps delivery
• Understanding of the importance of Monitoring in a DevOps environment
• Exhibit a positive attitude, a high level of initiative, and must enjoy the challenge of bringing structured notional software solutions to ill-defined environments
• Follow Agile Development process and full life cycle development: requirements, design, implementation, test, and maintenance
• Lead independent technical investigations, provide technical advice, recommend technical solutions and assists the Government in integrating the GCCS-J functionality into new baselines

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics (STEM) related field, with a focus on DevOps process automation throughout the SDLC
• Experience setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters in production for high availability systems is required
• Design and architecting the environment for developing software applications
• Manage change requests between development, staging, and production environments
• Exhibit a positive attitude, a high level of initiative, and must enjoy the challenge of bringing structured notional software solutions across multiple environments
• Interface with multiple, geographically-disbursed development teams and effectively communicate project statuses and barriers
• Attention to detail coupled with the ability to quickly learn new procedures with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate in a team environment.
• US citizen with a final Secret clearance

• Experience setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters in production for high availability systems
• Experience developing web/RESTful services
• Experience with cross-platform management (Windows and Unix/Linux data exchange)
• Experience with virtual machine environments
• Understanding of test-driven software development
• System Administration experience of various platforms
• Familiarity with running performance tests and finding ways to debug programs
• Familiarity with net-centric technologies
• Familiarity with database design/development, and entity framework
• Familiarity with Command and Control (C2) Systems
• Ability to apply mathematical and statistical operations towards software algorithms
• Background in military intelligence and imagery, or strategic planning
