Morgan Business Plan Competition and $20,000 to launch the business. With the help of friend Blake Kollker, an accomplished chef, Azzip's menu and concept went from business plan to reality. With mom as his accountant, dad as his handyman, and brother rolling dough, Azzip sold its first pizza on February 5, 2014, in Evansville, IN. Since opening, Brad has recruited other family members and friends to join the business to help spread Azzip to new pizza-loving customers.

About The Role
Azzip Pizza’s Operations Support Driver is a dual role managing the inventory of food items, small wares, signage, and other operational supplies and delivering these items to Azzip locations across our footprint.
The delivery driver will work a part-time schedule of approximately 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Driver starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Part time employees are eligible to earn paid time off and receive other employee perks.
Essential Function
The Operations Support Driver is responsible for supporting Azzip Pizza operations by managing inventory and delivering supplies to store locations. This role includes transporting food items, equipment, and materials on a scheduled delivery route twice per week, as well as maintaining organized and accurate inventory at the Home Office. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, tracking inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and supporting new store openings and promotions.

Duties

- Safely transport food items, small wares, signage, and other store needs to Azzip Pizza locations on a scheduled delivery route.
- Load and unload items with care and accuracy.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and communication for each delivery.
- Provide great service to store teams during drop-offs and communicate any issues or delays proactively.
- Maintain accurate inventory of operational supplies stored at the Home Office and warehouse.
- Organize and restock food items, small wares, and marketing materials as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and the operations team regarding reorders, shortages, or special orders.
- Support store openings, promotional rollouts, and seasonal initiatives.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Extended periods of time (up to 12 hours) driving a company-provided vehicle
- Standing and walking
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
- Reliability and punctuality
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, communicative, and team-oriented
- Prior delivery and/or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- 18+ years of age
