Location: Framingham, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $27 - 30 per hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Packaging Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building out artwork for packaging, including labeling and other production-related tasks. You'll also play a key part in speccing and ensuring that packaging materials meet brand and production standards.The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with a keen eye for design and accuracy. Create and execute packaging artwork (e.g., labels, tags) using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, ensuring visual consistency with brand and fashion trends.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and buying teams to interpret conceptual ideas and deliver print-ready packaging assets.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output and attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, incorporating feedback and direction while maintaining creative integrity.
Stay up to date on retail and fashion trends, applying insights to packaging design to support brand relevance and market appeal.
Qualifications
Packaging or related graphic design experience in the apparel industry.
Excellent sense of color, style and fashion.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects and works well under pressure.
Works as a team player.
Ability to execute and direct artwork.
Understanding of budget process.
Strong knowledge of retail and home fashion market.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
