Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Patient Access Representative to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting patients’ access to care by contributing to various administrative and front-end workflows. Responsibilities are revolving and may include referral and prior authorization coordination, insurance verification, EMR communication support, and patient financial engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, is highly organized, and values accuracy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities May Include

  • Assisting with the processing of incoming referrals to ensure timely scheduling and coordination of care.
  • Coordinating prior authorization requests and following up on approvals to avoid delays in treatment.
  • Managing the EMR inbox by monitoring and responding to provider and patient messages.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and documenting benefits ahead of scheduled visits.
  • Communicating clearly with patients regarding balances and financial responsibility.
  • Documenting account details and tracking in-clinic payments.
  • Supporting general front office operations and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Any other duties as determined by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
