Key Responsibilities May Include
- Assisting with the processing of incoming referrals to ensure timely scheduling and coordination of care.
- Coordinating prior authorization requests and following up on approvals to avoid delays in treatment.
- Managing the EMR inbox by monitoring and responding to provider and patient messages.
- Verifying insurance coverage and documenting benefits ahead of scheduled visits.
- Communicating clearly with patients regarding balances and financial responsibility.
- Documenting account details and tracking in-clinic payments.
- Supporting general front office operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Any other duties as determined by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
