We are actively seeking experienced Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resource (HR) Generalist will collect, compile, and analyze HR compensation data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations, and support HR initiatives, and administration such as compensation structure, benefits benchmarking, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

Reporting to Vice President of HR, the HR Generalist position is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Torrance, California.

Educational Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, psychology or other related field. A master’s degree is preferred. At least three (3+) years’ experience as an HR Generalist with responsibilities including recruiting, compensation, training, goal setting, performance management, leave management, coaching, employee relations.

Position Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Consistently recruit excellent staff and maintain a smooth onboarding process.
- Training and Development: Train, counsel, and coach staff while resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- Compensation and Benefits Management: Manage benefits and compensation, conduct performance and wage reviews, and ensure competitive benefits through benchmarking.
- Managing the development of company remuneration policies and programs.
- Analyzing positions to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements.
- Analyzing and interpreting the company's remuneration programs.
- Reviewing a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company's remuneration policies are competitive.
- Contributing company data to compensation surveys.
- Analyzing results of compensation surveys.
- Predicting future trends to steer the company in a positive direction.
- Managing salary structure creation and maintenance.
- Ensuring company compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Develop clear policies, ensure policy awareness, maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance, and ensure the employee handbook is up to date with federal and state requirements.
- Employee Relations: Resolve employee concerns systematically, handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and maintain confidentiality.
- Consultation and Advisory: Consult and advise on leave management, unemployment tax reductions, employment verifications, and legal implications.
- HR Reporting and Analysis: Create clear and concise reports for HR KPIs, monitor the HR department’s budget, and research new HR trends.
- Organizational Development: Work with leaders to produce standard operating procedures, develop cohesive interdepartmental communication channels, and foster an innovative and empowering environment.
HR Business Partner - Generalist
