
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This position will oversee operations and employees within the following departments: Customer Service, Technical Support/Services, as well as Shipping/Order Fulfillment, to build out and optimize existing and new processes and procedures for increased performance and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership:
- Work closely with leadership to align operational goals with strategic business objectives.
- Supervise and mentor personnel in assigned departments.
- Manage and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
- Develop, implement, and execute to completion project management and client management initiatives across all departments under supervision.
- Establish standardized processes and documentation for tracking and accountability for performance, risk aversion, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to clients.
- Implement cost saving tools and frameworks to improve departmental efficiencies and contribute to company growth.
- Coordinate and manage schedules for internal teams, leading meetings to drive project execution and completion.
Process Improvement:
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within existing processes and develop solutions to optimize workflow.
- Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new tools and methodologies that drive operational excellence.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and operational logs, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Develop and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) per department to measure project and operational success.
- Present operational updates to the Leadership team in designated meetings, and to the broader company at company All-Hands meetings.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration by ensuring open communication within the operations department and across all company divisions.
- Coordinate with Sales and Finance to ensure operational alignment
- Recommend, maintain and report on departmental budgetary needs.
Training and Development:
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to employees, enhancing their project and client management skills.
- Foster a continuous learning environment and encourage process ownership among team members.
Requirements
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience in an operations management leadership position.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools as well as process improvement.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a similar field required.
- 5+ years experience in an operational leadership role focusing on growth and management is a must and can replace the educational requirement if the experience is relevant.
- Prior work in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics is a must.
- Prior work in consumer product packaging or a related industry is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting.
- Travel: Up to 10%
