We are seeking a results-driven Digital Media Planner. In this role, you’ll plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Paid Search, Social, and Affiliate marketing, focusing on online new customer acquisition. Working closely with the Media Strategist, you will be responsible for day-to-day tactical campaign planning and optimization that aligns with strategic goals and marketing KPIs. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in scaling performance-driven DTC campaigns through digital media.

This is an on‑site position. Plan to work from our San Diego, CA or Milford, CT brewery at least four days each week, so you’ll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of either location.

Job Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution and Optimization

  • Plan, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Impact, etc.).
  • Ensure campaigns are executed and optimized on time, in real-time.
  • Monitor daily pacing, bid strategies, and adjust as needed to align with CAC & ROAS goals.
  • Apply audience strategies (custom audiences, lookalikes, modeling segments) to drive acquisition.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Analyze & provide monthly reporting including key KPIs: traffic, conversion, ROAS, CAC.
  • Support attribution and measurement through consistent tag management and data integrity practices.
  • Collaborate with the Media Strategist to contextualize results, extract insights, and inform future planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • As key day-to-day manager and coordinator of paid campaigns, partner with marketing and e-commerce teams to plan timelines, budgets, offers, and product priorities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to create briefs for content, copy, and landing page needs by identifying high-performing formats, hooks, and placements.
  • Collaborate with external media agencies or partners
  • Assist with Impact affiliate program execution, partner onboarding, and offer testing.
  • Inform organic marketing channels leads with keyword and trend research

Ad Operations & Technical Set-Up

  • Audit campaign set-up prior to launch
  • UTM link generating
  • Set up and Troubleshoot integrations with the MTA tool and/or Shopify
  • QA testing landing pages, pixels, and platform integrations
  • Assist with pixel implementation and conversion event tracking

Insights and Innovation:

  • Stay current with digital ad trends, platform updates, and emerging performance tactics.
  • Recommend content ideas based on insights from top performing campaigns, creative assets, and/or keywords.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience planning and executing multi-channel digital media campaigns.
  • Expertise with results-driven SEM campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Expertise with results-driven paid social campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.
  • Proficient in GA4, UTM tagging, and tracking best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable interpreting performance data, spotting trends, and making optimization decisions.
  • Experience in a DTC or eCommerce brand is highly desirable.
  • Experienced in managing external partners or agencies preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience steering daily campaign management, keeping budgets, pacing, and assets aligned.
  • Proven ability to design and run test‑and‑learn initiatives that vet new buying tactics, audiences, and optimization techniques.
  • Skilled at translating performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommending data‑driven improvements.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Multi-Touch Attribution Platforms, Media Mix Modeling Tools
  • Familiarity with Shopify and 3P integrations
  • Familiarity with Affiliate Networks and Program Management (i.e., Impact, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI-powered tools for media buying, creative optimization, audience targeting, etc.

Job Details:

  • Location: Onsite 4 days per week in Milford, CT, or San Diego, CA, breweries. Must be based within a commutable distance from one of the breweries. Strong preference for the San Diego Office.
  • Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually - Commensurate with experience. Base salary and opportunities for performance bonuses.
