Are you looking to leverage your expertise to grow a role that offers varied and challenging work? Our company, a leading parent organization that owns and operates 330+ franchise locations across North America, seeks a Catastrophe Coordinator to support the Operations team.

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting disaster response efforts? Paul Davis is seeking a Catastrophe Coordinator to provide direct administrative and operational support to the Senior Director of Catastrophe Services. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient catastrophe response operations by managing logistics, tracking resources, and facilitating seamless communication.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Strike Zone Office before, during, and after catastrophic events.
  • Maintain event preparation documents, including rosters, checklists, and contact lists.
  • Coordinate logistics for lodging, transportation, and office setups for catastrophe deployments.
  • Organize and distribute catastrophe supplies and equipment to field teams.
  • Assist in mobilizing and leading the Catastrophe Team during deployments.
  • Facilitate real-time communication with internal teams and leadership during events.
  • Track and replenish inventory of catastrophe response supplies and gear.
  • Coordinate vendor services for food, cleaning, security, and emergency support.
  • Document key activities and decisions for post-event reporting and analysis.
  • Help develop and update standard operating procedures for catastrophe response.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and disaster response procedures.
  • Participate in preparedness training and simulation exercises.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for catastrophe event coordination and support.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience in administrative support, operations, disaster response, or insurance/restoration industries is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, problem-solve proactively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Required Education And Experience

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Management or other field

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Experience in the restoration, insurance, or construction industry

  • Fully remote position, requiring daily collaborations through virtual meetings and communication tools
  • Must have access to a stable internet connection and a professional, remote workspace
  • Must be able to deploy for up to two weeks at a time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone or via video
  • Occasionally will lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle

Work Environment

The employee will be working remotely in their home office and will be exposed to normal conditions of air conditioning and heat. Most work will be conducted over email, video conferencing, and telephone. Employee must have access to a stable internet connection when working out of the office. The employee must use the provided VPN technology to securely connect remotely. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision.

Travel

This position may require up to 50% travel. This position may require travel to franchise locations, trainings, and team meetings as well as frequent travel to strike zones, which may include storm-damaged areas where there may be limited cold or hot/warm air, in various locations throughout the US and Canada.
