The Role: Guernsey is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Structural BIM Technician to support our multidisciplinary design teams - including Structural, Electrical, Architectural, Interiors, and Mechanical Engineers. This role plays a critical part in advancing our design technology capabilities through Building Information Modeling (BIM) and construction document development.

You'll work closely with our Design Technology Coordinator to implement modeling strategies and ensure seamless coordination across disciplines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working alongside a talented, collaborative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with engineers and architects on the technical development of construction drawings and design documentation
• Support BIM coordination and development across multiple disciplines
• Assist in implementing design technology strategies, standards, and tools
• Develop and refine Construction Documents in Revit
• Coordinate with internal project teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy
• Occasional travel for site visits and team coordination
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• 5+ years of proven experience supporting design teams in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and web conferencing tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project needs
  
  

Essential Physical Functions

• Sit/stand at a desk or computer
• Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites
• Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings
• Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods
• Some project-based travel may be required
