Job Summary:

The Transplant Data Coordinator works closely with the Transplant Quality and Compliance Manager to coordinate and direct all data support functions for the solid organ transplant service line. Responsible for obtaining, tracking, maintaining transplant specific clinical, demographic and market data for internal and external purposes. Abstracts, organizes, interprets/analyzes data and generates reports to assist in maintaining compliance with all of the reporting requirement specified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), the Wisconsin Department of Health, the Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory entities/agencies.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 2 years in an analyst or coordinator/specialist role that required translation and management of data.

Prior Healthcare Experience, Preferred.

Prior solid organ transplant experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Bachelors degree in Analytics, Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or Business is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Working knowledge in one or more of the following: EPIC, quantitative analysis, advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Detail oriented with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.

Demonstrates excellent follow-up skills and the ability to take initiative as well as a proactive problem solving approach.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to listen and convey messages in a clear, concise, and empathetic manner using the appropriate communication medium.

Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and customers.

Comfortable providing input and alternate views in a constructive way.
