Shopbop seeks a versatile Stylist with a strong fashion sense and comprehensive knowledge of current trends, designers, and brands across women's and menswear. This dynamic role offers an opportunity to work with trend-forward product in our Madison, WI photo studio, contributing to both on-figure and off-figure styling initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
- Execute compelling on-figure and off-figure styling for fashion shoots across Shopbop platforms
- Maintain efficient shoot organization, ensuring prioritization of key items and completion of all required views
- Style according to Shopbop's aesthetic, incorporating designer vision, buyer requests, seasonal style guides, and performance data
- Collaborate with Photographers, Art Directors, and Hair/Makeup Artists to create both informational and inspirational imagery
- Coordinate with models, capture detailed fit notes, and manage accessory styling
- Serve as an on-set product knowledge resource regarding brands, construction, and styling
- Contribute to the evolution of Shopbop's styling direction and brand voice
- Support cross-departmental initiatives within Creative Operations as needed
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends, brands, and market positioning
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Deep knowledge of garment construction, fit, and styling principles
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Styling, or related field
- 3+ years of styling experience in editorial, e-commerce, or relevant retail environment
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Flexibility to cross-train in other Creative Operations roles
- Experience with off-figure/still life styling
- Portfolio demonstrating strong styling perspective
