As we bring IT operations fully in-house, we are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to support and strengthen our internal technology infrastructure.
Position Overview
The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of GTI’s IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, system administration, and end-user support. This individual will play a hands-on role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring security compliance across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Support
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, network troubleshooting, and hardware support
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and install/setup IT equipment as needed
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar industry certifications
Experience with ERP systems, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), or IT ticketing systems
Prior experience in a manufacturing or multi-site organization

The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of GTI’s IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, system administration, and end-user support. This individual will play a hands-on role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring security compliance across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Support
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware malfunctions; perform upgrades as needed
- Manage IT asset inventory across departments
- Support A/V systems and telecommunication setup
- Install and update operating systems and business-critical software
- Provide end-user support for Microsoft 365, Zoom, VPN, and enterprise tools
- Work with vendors for software license renewals and technical support
- Assist with managing routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance
- Administer user accounts and permissions via Active Directory
- Support data backup, disaster recovery, and uptime monitoring
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related requests
- Deliver timely remote and on-site support for users across GTI locations
- Create training resources and user documentation for internal systems
- Ensure IT systems are aligned with internal security policies and compliance standards
- Respond to incidents and support cybersecurity best practices
- Assist with audit preparation and maintain IT documentation

- Full-time, on-site in Goodyear, AZ
- Occasional travel to nearby company locations may be required
- May include on-call responsibilities as part of a rotating schedule
