- Saw Operation: Operates the headrig saw to cut logs into specified dimensions, focusing on both quality and efficiency.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conducts regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the saw to minimize downtime.
- Log Handling: Loads logs onto the carriage, operates the log turner, and coordinates the conveyor system.
- Production Coordination: Collaborates with other production team members to coordinate log flow and meet daily production targets.
- Quality Control: Performs quality checks on cut lumber to ensure it meets specified standards.
- Safety: Maintains a clean and safe work environment and adheres to all safety regulations.
- Equipment Adjustment: Adjusts saw settings to optimize cutting performance.
