Ryan Fireprotection is a growing construction company with more than 10 offices in the Midwest, and construction jobs all over the country. We are growing at a rapid pace and are excited to hire a Quality Director to establish and oversee the Company quality program for policies and procedures, while also conveying quality improvement tools to all areas of the company.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about driving our best-in-class approach across all facets of the organization.

Our headquarters is in Noblesville, IN and would like this person to work from there, home & on site at different jobs and locations. Some travel will be expected.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures that all quality related procedures and rules are followed
  • Reports and stops work on all non-compliant conditions
  • Conducts periodic quality inspections
  • Takes actions necessary to ensure company understands and implements the following:
    • Corporate Quality Program
    • Customer specifications
    • Governing construction Codes
    • Quality Plans
    • Quality Roles and Responsibilities
    • Quality training & orientation (Department and Company)
    • ITP’s (Inspection & Test Plans)
    • SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
    • NDE Procedures per the scope of work
    • Welding and Fabrication Procedures
    • Creating System Turnover Processes
    • TOPS software (Turn-Over Process System)
  • Promotes the awareness of the Quality program to the company and disseminates information accordingly
  • Ensures Quality Program, policies, practices, responsibilities are current with Code requirements, Industry advancements and/or Company improvements
  • Develops internal audit program and participates in both internal and external audits
  • Assists in review and approval of third-party vendors or subcontractors
  • Aggregates all documentation, certifications, procedures, and other items so that duplication of effort is avoided within company
  • Manages and works with a Quality Coordinator to see that the program is implemented
  • Ensures that Measure and Testing Equipment is correctly maintained and kept in calibration
  • Reviews specifications, pre-bid, to positively influence project budgets
  • Leading Lessons Learned in quality
  • Ensures that quality documentation records are retained in electronic storage for future retrieval
  • Works with the Organization to improve systems and systems performance
  • Tracks and trends Quality Metrics
  • Creates and maintains Corporate Code and Standard library
  • Demonstrate understanding of Corporate Values and Guiding Principles of Ryan Fire
  • Develops and maintains strong interpersonal skills as well as, communication, time management, and other skills necessary for effective management
  • Actively participates in training opportunities
  • Mentors staff within the department
  • Be cognizant of marketing opportunities with Clients
  • Fosters Client relationships
  • Establishes Quality goals
  • Cultivates Corporate values and principles to the department
  • Creates and manages departmental budget
  • Other duties as assigned

We would like this candidate to have 15+ years in Construction, at least 7+ years working with a Quality team and 5+ years of managing a team.
