IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER
The Opportunity
As an Implementation Project Manager at HealthEZ, you’ll lead the onboarding and renewal of employer-sponsored health plans, ensuring smooth and timely go-lives. You’ll manage projects from kickoff through completion, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet key milestones. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys working with both technical and executive stakeholders. Managing multiple priorities and providing timely and consistent communication with all stakeholders are critical competencies for success in the Implementation Project Manager role. This role will report to the Director, Implementation and PMO and is required to be in office two days per week.

IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER

You’ll manage projects from kickoff through completion, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet key milestones. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys working with both technical and executive stakeholders. Managing multiple priorities and providing timely and consistent communication with all stakeholders are critical competencies for success in the Implementation Project Manager role. This role will report to the Director, Implementation and PMO and is required to be in office two days per week.
What you’ll do:
- Lead project kickoff, status, and post-implementation meetings with clients (employer groups) and internal teams.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines for new implementations and renewals.
- Ensure all stakeholders meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on project planning, defining priorities, goals, and objectives.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients during implementation, including C-level executives, managing escalation and ensuring the right resources are aligned for timely issue resolution.
- Communicate project updates and risks to internal leadership and clients.
- Develop customer-facing materials and talking points to facilitate successful implementation meetings.
- Gain working knowledge of internal processes to better coordinate cross-functional efforts impacting the client experience
- Educate employer group customers on expectations, impacts, and outcomes to ensure a no surprises experience
- Support cross-functional strategic projects and process improvements.
- Manage internal strategic initiative projects, as assigned.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of applicable experience
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Ability to think logically and understand how various parts of a system connect and impact each other
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of software architecture and hardware requirements
- Comfortable engaging all levels of leadership, both internally and externally
- Project Management experience preferred, but not required
- Understanding of healthcare industry practices, a plus, but not required
