Provides direct patient care following organizational standards and policies.
- Evaluates patient and family learning needs; offers education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
- Plans, implements, and assesses care to optimize outcomes and resource use.
- Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status effectively.
- Delegates tasks to ancillary staff and may precept students or new hires.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on patient care, referrals, and psychosocial support.
- Requires at least 1 year of RN experience, relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS), and specific credentials for certain specialties.
- Must meet physical demands and work conditions typical for a healthcare setting.
- Position generally for office hours, not eligible for shift differentials.
