Experienced HR Program Manager and Business Partner needed for hybrid position that will serve as a strategic collaborator at all levels for remanufacturing operations on site in Murrieta, CA and as a regional collaborator for warehouse leadership located nationally. Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong technical expertise in employee relations and leadership development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, influences, and drives strategic HR initiatives in partnership with management and HR Function groups to ensure customer requests and needs are met in a timely basis. Leads activities to solve complex projects.
- Improves business or function unit performance by partnering with management and associates to identify and clarify problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions and coaching or mentoring managers and associates.
- Manages or resolves complex associate relations or high-risk situations by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations at Murrieta location and coordinates regional HR Business Partner investigative support for complex associate relations issues at regional warehouses.
- Responsible for aligning objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
- Administers, interprets and explains routine and complex human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies. Creates more complex presentations for management and delivers presentations to senior management as requested.
- Guides and provides input on staffing and workforce planning, associate morale and engagement activities, succession planning and other key HR programs.
- Identifies organizational and individual training needs and partners with business unit management and HR Talent Management team for program development and delivery. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives were met.
- May develop and/or lead or participate in projects to support the improvement of human resources programs, policies and procedures.
- Mentors less experienced colleagues to support their development and advancement along with participating in improving function standards and efficiencies. Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and implementing/leading courses of action.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of directly applicable experience in strategic employee relations-based HR disciplines.
- Exposure is to a manufacturing environment, which lends itself to varying levels of exposure to dust, odor, fumes and temperature extremes dependent upon assigned location(s) within the manufacturing plant. Employee must wear appropriate protective welding gear, gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, mask, steel-toed shoes, apron or other predefined personal protective equipment when working in the production and/or warehouse areas.
