As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring an Operator in our Pittsburg, CA branch of American Plant Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Assist with maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of facility equipment and machinery. Perform routine troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical systems. Identify and resolve operational issues through effective troubleshooting.
• Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Operate mobile and heavy equipment for transporting materials, personnel, and products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members in shipping and receiving to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Maintain yard cleanliness and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work Schedule & Attendance: Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Interest in acquiring knowledge of and operating heavy equipment.
• Operational Skills: Ability to travel occasionally, safely drive and operate machinery and pass federal background checks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Training: Factory certified training welding experience.
• Diagnostics Tools: Previous experience utilizing engine diagnostic tools.
  
  

Work Environment

• Location: Must be able to commute to Pittsburg, CA branch.
• Physical Conditions: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 40 pounds is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
