Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Assist with maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of facility equipment and machinery. Perform routine troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical systems. Identify and resolve operational issues through effective troubleshooting.
- Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Operate mobile and heavy equipment for transporting materials, personnel, and products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members in shipping and receiving to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Maintain yard cleanliness and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work Schedule & Attendance: Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Interest in acquiring knowledge of and operating heavy equipment.
- Operational Skills: Ability to travel occasionally, safely drive and operate machinery and pass federal background checks.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic.
- Additional Training: Factory certified training welding experience.
- Diagnostics Tools: Previous experience utilizing engine diagnostic tools.
- Location: Must be able to commute to Pittsburg, CA branch.
- Physical Conditions: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 40 pounds is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour (The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual hourly rate will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience).
