Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resident and staff meals according to recipes, production sheets, and the meal schedule.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices are followed.
  • Maintain temperature logs to ensure food safety.
  • Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized.


Requirements:

  • At least one year of cooking experience in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
  • Knowledge of cooking equipment and various cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic and altered texture diets.
