As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. Reporting to a Supervisor, you will use a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reports for all receiving activities. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and will be paid weekly at $15.50 per hour.

How You Create Impact
- Process orders for material or merchandise received by mail, fax, e-mail, EDI or telephone from customer
- Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data
- Examine records such as bills, computer printouts, bills of lading and related documents and inform customer of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer using mail, e-mail, or telephone
- Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management
- Investigate overdue and damaged shipments or shortages in shipments for customers and/or common carriers
- Analyze complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation, updating customers on a timely basis
- Provide back up support for all accounts other than primary
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel; can keep complex spreadsheets
- 1 year of experience with SAP or any Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Can work overtime and weekends
