Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Designer to join our dynamic team and help shape the user experience across our diverse portfolio of digital platform products. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Your focus will be to create user-centric, accessible, and scalable design solutions that satisfy both user and business needs. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and prototyping will be instrumental in driving engagement and customer satisfaction.

Principal Functional Responsibilities

Information Architecture & Wireframing

  • Define and build upon existing navigation structures, workflows, and content organization.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interaction models that map out the user journey.
  • Use industry-standard design tools such as Figma to create detailed wireframes and prototypes.

Prototyping & Interaction Design

  • Design intuitive and responsive interfaces that work across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, and web).
  • Ensure design consistency and accessibility in UI components across the platform while working within an established design library.

User Research & Analysis

  • Lead user research initiatives through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability tests.
  • Analyze user behavior, pain points, and feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative data to shape product strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and engineers to align user needs with business objectives.
  • Analyze heatmaps, user session recordings, and analytics to identify usability issues.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data to optimize user experience.

Collaboration with Engineering & Product Teams

  • Work closely with solution architects, front-end engineers, and product owners to ensure designs are technically feasible and scalable.
  • Communicate design rationale and user experience principles to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning and development cycles to ensure design integrity during implementation.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

  • Ensure designs comply with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other industry accessibility standards.
  • Promote inclusive design practices within the product team to enhance the overall user experience.

Documentation & UX Guidelines

  • Maintain a comprehensive design system and component library to ensure consistency across products.
  • Document design rationale, patterns, and usability guidelines for future reference.
  • Provide ongoing UX recommendations and best practices to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Essential Qualifications And Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design for digital products (web and mobile).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design solutions and successful product launches.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices.
  • Experience working with engineering teams to implement designs.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret user research data.
  • Ability to find common ground between technical limitations and desired experiences is a must.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and designing for inclusivity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
