This Position Reports To
Global Sales Manager
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.
This position requires the ability to work on-site full-time out of our Quincy, MA office.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $57,400 and $106,600 annually.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Offering technical advice and providing comment on inquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.
- Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Delivering product/solution/service-related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Sales. (Candidates without a 4-year degree with commensurate experience will also be considered.)
- Experience with complex contact negotiations preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products preferred.
- Experience working with contractors & channel partners preferred
- Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training preferred.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
