Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of Carolina Handling’s external marketing efforts. This role oversees brand development, digital marketing, and external communications including public relations, community engagement, and outbound campaigns. The position works cross-functionally with sales, recruiting, and other customer-facing teams to support lead generation, drive market awareness, and align marketing initiatives with organizational growth goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive external marketing strategy that supports business objectives and reinforces brand consistency
- Build and maintain a strong corporate brand/image across all public channels including events, promotional materials, digital content, and advertising
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media, paid search, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and website content
- Identify weaknesses or gaps in existing campaigns and lead new initiatives that create impact within agreed timelines and budgets
- Manage external partners, vendors, and consultants (e.g. creative agencies, copywriters, digital vendors) to execute strategic marketing programs
- Develop sales enablement materials in collaboration with sales leadership to support the customer journey
- Write or edit compelling copy for external-facing content such as blogs, social media, email campaigns, case studies, landing pages, and event collateral
- Oversee community and sponsorship involvement, coordinating Carolina Handling’s participation in external events and industry organizations
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust tactics for ongoing optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand alignment with recruiting, sales, and customer experience
- Support additional marketing projects as assigned
- People leader managing a Digital Marketing Manager, Content & Communications Manager, and Marketing Specialist(s)
- Providing strategic direction, coaching, workload prioritization, and performance management to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
- 3+ years in a marketing people leadership position
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing strategy and tools (HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaigns, SEO/SEM, etc.)
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to brand tone and messaging consistency
- Experience in B2B or industrial sectors preferred
- Excellent decision-making, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Business acumen and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear marketing messages
- Strategic Execution & Accountability: You align with the vision, take ownership, and deliver results through structured, deadline-driven execution.
