The Accountant II is responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in month end close and reporting process.
• Review ledger accounts, recommend and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation.
• Prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the month/quarter close process.
• Assist with internal control evaluations.
• Participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects.
• Support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects or analyses as requested.
• Interact daily with accounting team and internal customers.
• Provide mentorship to team members.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent education.
• Typically 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Technologically savvy with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP Accounting and Reporting software.
• Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software a plus.
• Minimal travel required.
  
  

The pay Range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
