- Assist in month end close and reporting process.
- Review ledger accounts, recommend and prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation.
- Prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the month/quarter close process.
- Assist with internal control evaluations.
- Participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects.
- Support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects or analyses as requested.
- Interact daily with accounting team and internal customers.
- Provide mentorship to team members.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent education.
- Typically 2-5 years of accounting experience.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP Accounting and Reporting software.
- Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software a plus.
- Minimal travel required.
