Schedule Options

  • Morning Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM
  • Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM Reports To: Clinical Director, with day-to-day oversight from Lead Wellness Coordinator

About The Role

The Wellness Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring daily operations at Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with our mission of supporting adolescents and families through intensive mental wellness care. This individual acts as a bridge between our clinical team, clients, and families—ensuring structure, safety, and support throughout each day.

We are hiring for multiple positions to support coverage during both morning and evening programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide structured support to adolescents ages 13–17 participating in PHP and IOP services.
  • Monitor and ensure safety throughout programming, including during transitions and breaks.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to implement therapeutic schedules and activities.
  • Greet and support families during arrival and pickup, creating a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Support daily wellness check-ins, documentation, and real-time communication with leadership.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to escalated behaviors and follow crisis protocol as needed.
  • Assist with administrative, clerical, or facility-related duties to support program flow.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and trainings to ensure alignment with treatment goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with adolescents in a school, clinical, or community-based setting is strongly preferred.
  • Ideal candidates may be current or recent students in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling programs.
  • Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence, especially when interacting with parents.
  • Spanish-speaking is a huge plus, though not required.
  • Must be comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative team.
