Position Overview
QualityAuditorsinspect processing equipment andensurethat employeesareperforming their jobs correctly and following company procedures and safety rules. The Auditor reviews and analyzes quality inspection data to find specific types of quality problems the department or company is experiencing. The Auditor provides information on theparticular defects that can be addressed. AnAuditorwrites andimplements test andinspection procedures toobtain the defect information needed for analysis, and report findings from test and inspection data to management. They participate in employee quality improvement teams to reduce defects and quality issues, and make recommendations to improve the production process based on findings from auditing analysis. The Auditor monitors the procedure to determine if changes significantly improve the process and defect quantities. Quality Auditors document results of newprocedures after implementationtoshow qualityimprovements.Auditors must befamiliar with quality assurance principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures. Quality Auditors musthave good verbal andwrittencommunicationskillstopresentfindingsfrom data analysis. Auditors must have computer skills and familiarity with issue tracking software programs.

EssentialJob Duties/Responsibilities
- Workwith qualitymanagementtodevelop,document andimplementqualityplans, procedures, instructionsand test equipment.
- I dentifyandassureconformancetogovernmental requirements.
- Conduct in-processandpost manufacturing auditsofintermediateandfinished products
- Ensuremanufacturing practices,batchrecordsandother supporting documentationare in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs and other applicable company policies
- FollowsGMPstandards,SOP’s,FoodSafetyStandardsaswellasworkplace safety standards.
- Ensurethetraceabilityofcomponents andproducts aremaintainedateveryinspection point
- Utilize all documents contained in the Quality System, such as manufacturing procedures,forms,standardoperatingprocedures,and initiatethesubmission of inspection reports, as appropriate
- Performadditionalroutine/non-routineauditsofmanufacturing processesandfacilities; and other tasks as assigned.
- Partner withManufacturing andother support groupsto provideissueguidanceand resolution in alignment with applicable procedures
- TheQualityAuditor individual will actasQuality/Operationssubjectmatter expertby providing technical and quality guidance to peers and may facilitate training for incoming staff as well as GMP training for other departments
- Thisposition isexpectedtoidentify systemic issuesandto collaborateandparticipate with the process centered organization to implement solutions This position will provide real-time issue guidance and resolution, including managementofevents,will haveinvolvementincontinuousimprovementactivitiesor other projects to supportsite goals, execute training and support of internal, partner and agency audits
