As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to our sales team in achieving their goals and ensuring a positive customer experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with customer inquiries and providing product information, processing sales orders, and maintaining accurate sales records. You will also collaborate with various departments such as marketing and operations to optimize sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate for this position has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and a proactive and problem-solving mindset. You must be customer-focused, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with responding to customer inquiries, providing product information, and identifying potential sales opportunities
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain customer database and ensure data accuracy
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize sales strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Provide administrative support to sales team as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers and contribute to sales strategies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
