Western Tidewater CSB is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for our Assisted Living Facility located in Suffolk, VA.

Responsibilities and Duties for Maintenance Supervisor:
- Oversight of day-to-day operations at an Assistant Living Facility to include building inspections, supervision of maintenance, housekeeping, and dietary programs.
- Must be able to respond to facility emergencies
- Assure facility safety by monitoring building inspection reports, conducting evacuation drills as applicable, training staff in emergency procedures, and participating in life safety code surveys/inspections.
- Monitoring staff resources.
- Approve and manage staff work schedules, assuring that schedules meet program and consumers’ needs; review and approve leave requests, ensuring adequacy of coverage.
- Must possess knowledge of commercial facility operations
- Bachelor’s degree in the related field, or have the equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record
- Long term Care experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of DBHDS regulations and or DSS standards preferred but not required
