Area Director

Join a winning team at Echo Park and Forest Ridge as our full-time on-site role for an Area Director located in Bloomington, Indiana. The Area Director will oversee office out of Echo Park Apartments and oversee operations, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, maintain property standards, and manage budgets for both communities. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating maintenance, handling tenant relations, and implementing marketing strategies to fill vacancies. Day-to-day tasks involve regular site visits, tenant communication, and reporting to senior management. In addition to the day-to-day management of the two Bloomington communities, the Area Director will have oversight and take an active lead role between the Property Manager and senior leadership for one other community within a two hour drive of Bloomington, Indiana. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who desires a future in portfolio-level management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Property management experience, including budget management and staff supervision
• Strong tenant relations and communication skills
• Knowledge of maintenance coordination and scheduling
• Experience with marketing strategies and vacancy management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties
• Proficiency in property management software (RealPage, KnockCRM, KeyTexting, Realync) and Microsoft office applications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
