What We’re Looking For

The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's functions and contributions to the overall success of our organization. This position will primarily provide support for employee relations, benefits administration, policy communication and adherence, compliance preparedness and reporting, HR system management, employee leave management, onboarding, and offboarding of employees.

What You'll Do

  • Initial Contact for All Sante Employees
  • Front Line Employee Contact to include Contact for all Employee Benefit questions, Policy & Procedure Questions, Leave Requests, etc. Develop relationships & builds trust with employees and leadership through consistent and fair actions, communication and administration. Refers to all complaints received from the HR Manager.
  • Review & Approve Employee Personnel Actions. Send employee notifications as needed.
  • HRIS Management to include maintaining employee personnel & medical files to include filing, organization, etc. Ensuring files are always ready for audits or inspections.
  • Prepares received Accommodation Requests & forwards to HR Manager or Director for review/approval. Files completed requests in the employee’s medical file. Maintains tracking for periodic review.
  • Prepares received FMLA (and other LOA) Requests & forwards to HR Manager or Director for review / approval. File completed requests in the employee’s medical file. Maintain tracking logs.
  • Processes (Off-Boards) Resignations / Terminations to include accompanying employee correspondence.
  • Assist with the onboarding process.
  • Respond to Employee VOE requests to include those from Unemployment (Team 19). Respond to Unemployment (Team 19) requests in a timely manner. Refer all "With Cause" unemployment investigations to the HR Manager.
  • Benefit Plan Administration: Oversees the day-to-today administration to include enrollment, changes, inquiries and terminations. Ensures accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions. Assists with the annual open enrollment processes.
  • Facilitates Annual Anniversary Tasks, (aka Annual-To-Dos) to include background checks, CPS checks, & Primary Source Verification of Licensed/Certified Staff
  • Facilitates Annual Performance Evaluations, Privileging renewal & annual Individual Supervision plans if required
  • Receives and Processes Workers Compensation & Injury Claims. Notifies the HR Mgr & Director of all injuries. Maintains logs in preparation of annual BLS (OSHA) reports.
  • Assists or Prepares Reports as requested to include EEO, BLS (OSHA), Wage Comparison, Quarterly Hours, and others as requested or needed.
  • Assist with Special Projects internally as needed
  • Process and forward payroll advance to the payroll team.
  • Respond to Official Garnishment requests in collaboration with Payroll and add deductions in ADP. Share documents with the payroll team.
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient using HR systems (ADP strongly preferred) and MS Office Suite
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
