The Strategic Initiatives Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing cross-functional projects that align with Ace Electric’s strategic growth objectives. These projects may include, but are not limited to, operational efficiency, geographic and service diversification, process improvement, business expansion, and customer experience enhancement. The role will serve as a central point for managing initiatives that are executive-driven and span departments such as Operations, Estimating, Business Development, Procurement, HR, and Accounting.
This individual will not be required to be a subject matter expert in every area but will be responsible for connecting key stakeholders, managing project timelines, driving accountability, and providing updates to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee strategic initiatives from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track milestones, identify risks or roadblocks, and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, including operations, estimating, business development, procurement, and others.
- Build and coordinate with transition teams from departments like Operational Excellence, MIS, Accounting, Divisional Leadership and HR to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making and drive accountability across teams.
- Support adoption of new processes, systems, and standards.
- Engage stakeholders and communicate project vision and value.
- Monitor KPIs and report initiative impact to executive leadership.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and scalable growth.
- Experience with business growth strategy, market analysis, or M&A integration.
- Familiarity with project lifecycles, estimating, and field operations.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- High level of professional business acumen.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in project management.
- Professional references, Clear Background Check, Clear Drug Screen, Valid driver’s license with good driving history, Authorized to work in the United States.
- Climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
- Frequent use of computers, phones, and repetitive motion.
- Distractions due to environmental noise.
- Travel may vary with assigned project. Can expect 10%-15% travel.
- Read, interpret, and apply information from policies and partner communications.
- Ability to follow safe work procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Handbook.
- Ability to hear, see, and communicate clearly.
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Lift objects up to 10 lbs. occasionally and 5 lbs. frequently.
- Prolonged sitting and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
