The Accounting Analyst will support the financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic analysis, and helping maintain strong financial controls. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights and support the firm's continued growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for process improvement.

Requirements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and internal reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help guide decision-making.
- Assist with/perform month end client invoicing process and provide feedback on automation and workflows.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow tracking.
- Identify process improvements and support automation of financial workflows.
- Collaborate with external tax preparers and auditors as needed.
- Assist with project profitability reporting.
- Ensure financial compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to support strategic financial planning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct) is a plus
- Strong communication skills. Communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. This includes utilizing proper punctuation, correct spelling and the ability to transcribe accurately.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and complex projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, needing minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar analytical role.
