Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Controller to join our finance leadership team. This role is central to managing the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations, supporting a world-class manufacturing and beverage production environment. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will lead our close process, oversee AP/AR and accounting operations, and help shape the future of the finance function as we scale.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Financial Operations
- Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.
- Oversee AR/AP operations and lead a small team of clerk-level employees.
- Provide oversight and support to an Inventory Analyst and Staff Accountant; may grow to two headcount depending on scope.
- Recommend and document close process improvements and implement desk manuals.
- Develop internal controls and drive process standardization and cross-training across the team.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of a rolling 13-week cash flow model.
- Assist with BBC (borrowing base certificate) processes and lender reporting requirements.
- Partner across departments to ensure accurate, timely reporting and strong financial stewardship.
- Hire, train, and evaluate team members—assessing current staff and shaping the accounting team of the future.
- Foster a high-performance culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to operational and functional leaders across the company.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience managing accounting teams is required.
- CMA preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
