About The Job
The Sr. Supply Chain Planner drives supply chain excellence as the owner of the strategic production planning models. This role is responsible for maintaining and driving continuous improvement of the Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Capacity Plan (RCCP) to deliver attainable production schedules that satisfies the demand forecast, services customers, and balances inventory, manufacturing efficiency and order fulfilment, supporting Step 3 of the Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP) process and enables financial planning accuracy.

About The Job
The Sr. Supply Chain Planner drives supply chain excellence as the owner of the strategic production planning models. This role is responsible for maintaining and driving continuous improvement of the Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Capacity Plan (RCCP) to deliver attainable production schedules that satisfies the demand forecast, services customers, and balances inventory, manufacturing efficiency and order fulfilment, supporting Step 3 of the Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP) process and enables financial planning accuracy.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver the 12-18 month rolling Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Capacity Plan (RCCP).
- Coordinate with Plant Operations, Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, and cross-functional Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and minimize supply chain volatility.
- Partner with CMO and internal production team to ensure accurate planning and delivery of semi-finished good materials to support production plans.
- Participate in regular Ops and Scheduling meetings to support the optimal balancing of inventory and efficiency to meet customer service targets and to maximize plant OEE.
- Facilitate IBP process, coordinating with Demand Planning, manufacturing sites and schedulers to deliver Step 3 supply plan on a monthly basis.
- Setup and maintain items within the planning systems to ensure accurate visibility throughout the supply chain.
- Plan and implement packaging and/or product changes to deliver business goals while minimizing inventory obsolescence.
- Utilize scenario planning to evaluate demand and supply changes, opportunities, risks and improvements and make recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement across supply chain systems, process and activities.
- Expert level understanding of overall Supply Chain and relevant factors that impact manufacturing processes, production capacity, related systems and business planning processes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of FMCG supply chain experience, which could include production scheduling, demand planning & forecasting, operations, industrial engineering, customer service or other supply chain or logistics functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, statistics, operations, business, or other comparable qualification.
- Understanding of fundamental forecasting, capacity planning, manufacturing, and inventory management principles.
- Experience working with Advanced Planning Systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Data visualization experience, Power BI or similar
- SAP and Kinaxis experience preferred.
- Experience working directly with or within a manufacturing environment
- IBP or S&OP/S&OE process experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and attention to detail when appropriate.
- Ability to synthesize and filter inputs from various sources and identify those of most critical influence.
- Strategic Perspective, understanding of the overall supply chain and the impact of the forecast on each downstream component.
- Strong Command Skills, encouraging tough conversations or debate when necessary and driving process excellence.
