About This Position
This position is located in Lawton, OK, at the Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC). The individual selected for this role will be responsible for managing the billing and reimbursement process. Key duties include researching and reviewing claims to identify potential third-party liabilities and taking appropriate actions to recover funds for medical expenses and related costs. Responsibilities also include coordinating patient admissions to determine benefit eligibility, maintaining enrollment with Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party network providers, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations. Additional tasks involve completing billing cycles, updating patient accounts, investigating claim issues using available resources, facilitating payments, gathering supporting documentation for appeals, and analyzing various reports to support revenue recovery efforts.
Job Type / Salary
Two years of technical experience which included the processing and/or payment of insurance claims of accounts receivable; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for one year of required experience.

- Annual Salary is $41,500/yr - $19.95/hr
- Primary working hours: Monday -Friday, 8am-5pm
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
