Summary

We have a current opportunity for a Project Coordinator located at our facility in Longmont, CO. As part of the project management team the administrator will support project management and Project Engineering in the execution of multiple multi-million-dollar projects. This position will report to directly to site Project Management (PM) and indirectly to the project management team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project cost analyst and project manager to create and report weekly/monthly financial reports: forecasts, actuals and Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis
  • Build and maintain complex project schedules with the ability to integrate into an Integrated Master Schedule in Microsoft Project.
  • Create work break down structure (WBS) and resource loading
  • Perform schedule variance analysis and work with Project Manager (PjM) to create recovery plans
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, tracking and closing action items
  • Create and manage intercompany work order documents to include initial release through contracts, track funding, and period of performance
  • Help execute Purchase Order (PO) placement process and reporting: track approval status, track order deliveries, provide order status to project team to enable planning upon deliveries
  • Track and ensure compliance with customer reporting requirements – Supplier Delivery Requirements List (SDRLS), monthly deliveries, reporting
  • Upload customer submission packages such as meeting minutes, design review presentations, supplier data requirement submissions, end item data packages, engineering documentation, and schedules
  • Provide status and tracking reports for internal project documentation releases including drawings, build documentation, test documentation
  • Provide additional support as directed by project manager


Ideal Experience

  • Must have experience building and managing complex projects and updating schedules in Microsoft Project
  • Must be Mid-level excel user able to manage complex excel workbooks for data entry and report extraction
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field with 2 or more years of experience supporting project scheduling, reporting and actions tracking. Willing to consider professional experience in lieu of degree
  • Previous project management experience
  • Must have ability to obtain a security clearance


Desired Skills

  • 2 or more years of experience using Microsoft Project (intermediate to advanced user preferred)
  • Well organized with attention to detail and understands project management principals
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience with data entry and reporting in enterprise reporting systems software
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong written and communication skills, to include collaboration with cross functional teams

Pay Range

$34 – $45 per hour

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
