As a Software Engineer I at Credibly, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that power our financial products and services. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and company standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the documentation of software features and processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially those relevant to the financial sector.
- Ensure software compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0-2 years of professional software development experience (internships and academic projects count).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Interest in finance and financial technology is a plus.
