Position Summary

Join Adjoin Veterans and help give Veterans the home they deserve. Our housing-first strategy ensures that every Veteran family we serve secures permanent housing. We are honored to support our Veterans through federal Veterans Affairs and state funding opportunities, such as Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF).

Responsibilities

Safety

Transport Veterans to appointments, housing searches, or other necessary locations, ensuring safety and timeliness during travel. Complies with all safety standards and practices.

Maintenance

Maintain positive communications and relationships with individuals in cooperative agencies, property managers, landlords, housing resources, and involved members of families and participants. Maintain an inventory list of all landlords and housing placements.

Prepare, submit, and deliver rental related Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA’s) checks.

Perform all duties as assigned.

Organize, plan and lead networking events, program activities and groups.

Assist

Assist Case Coordinator with providing follow up services to landlords including on-site visits, monthly phone contacts and recording up to date participant and landlord information.

Conduct landlord outreach and education in order to develop a network of landlords available to rent to participants.

Ability to travel for meetings, conferences, seminars and trainings. Ability to travel within and throughout the counties in which services are provided a minimum of 75% of the time. Ability to travel in and throughout the state on a quarterly basis to attend meetings, trainings, etc.
