About This Role

In this role, you will provide analytical solutions and insights to support strategic decision-making across customer service, product and business development teams. Demonstrating your commitment to Audible and Amazon leadership principles, you will work with customer service stakeholders as a trusted analytical partner, using data to guide business decisions and strategy development. You will support various initiatives through structured analyses, helping stakeholders form data-driven strategies for customer targeting, messaging, content, and value propositions. You will design and execute analyses to maximize business value, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive continuous improvement in analytical processes.

About You

You are able to work with limited guidance, handle multiple projects concurrently, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and own deliverables end to end. You think both tactically and strategically, develop insightful analyses, communicate findings clearly to various audiences, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

As a Business Analyst, you will...

  • Deliver regular reporting and insights through leadership reviews (MBRs, QBRs)
  • Develop and maintain analytics solutions to support team goals and inform business decisions
  • Conduct diagnostic analyses of customer behavior (churn, engagement, listening, sales, etc.), customer needs (pricing, content, experience), and business propositions
  • Design and execute analyses to support business objectives such as Churn Reduction, Revenue Optimization, Member-LTV maximization, and Campaign Optimization
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiencies
  • Analyze impact of mandates and special initiatives on customer service reporting and identify changes and improvements to be made
  • Create and optimize reporting systems, leveraging readily available data and exploring new data sources
  • Apply advanced transformations within spreadsheets, SQL, or other relevant tools

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, or related field
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, or similar
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization
  • Prior work experience in digital media, entertainment industry, or subscription businesses
  • Experience in process improvement and optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others and influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver consistent results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
