Position Summary
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct patient care. This includes implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and contributing to the overall success of our rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities.
- Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and OT supervision.
- Support patients, families, and caregivers with education and guidance.
- Document treatments, patient responses, and relevant changes in condition.
- Follow established care plans and contribute to treatment planning.
- Attend required staff meetings and participate in team-based care planning.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory standards.
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred
- Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
