Book and Bible Typesetter

Crossway is a not-for-profit publisher of Christian books, the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible, and other gospel literature. The purpose of Crossway is to publish gospel-centered, Bible-centered content that will honor our Savior and serve his Church. General Description of Responsibilities:

The Typesetter is responsible for typesetting Bible and book projects under the oversight of the Director of Production. THIS IS A NON-REMOTE POSITION

Position Requirements:

• A college degree (BA or BS)
• Interest in design, typography, and typesetting
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in InDesign and Acrobat
• Aptitude with Word and Word Styles
• Experience with various document formats (XML, HTML, USX) a plus
• Experience with scripting languages (especially Javascript or Python) a plus
• Experience with ebooks or web design a plus
• Experience working with Bibles a plus
• Passion for the Word of God
