AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN-Admissions. This position is Full-time days with one weekend rotation monthly supporting our Burlington service areas. CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Job Summary
These functions/duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following: explains hospice services to patients and families and assist with the signing of consent documents. Coordinate, collaborate and develop plan of care with patient, significant others, and members of the interdisciplinary team to focus and assure patient centered outcomes.
Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, teaches, delegates, supervises, and coordinates the care of adult and geriatric patients; (initial assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and teaching) which provides care and support to terminally ill patients and their families; and perform other nursing duties as requested.
The Admissions RN will bring experience and passion in working in an environment that values dignity, respect and inclusion of all team members, patients, and caregivers. Must be able to travel to, enter, and function in the homes of any patient/caregiver within the service area.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
- One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing a plus.
- Two years of experience a plus.
- CHPN Certified preferred.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
