Position Overview:

As the Data Operations Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external data deliverables are on time and accurate. The analyst will use data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to establish baselines, investigate issues, and perform ad-hoc data analysis. Key duties include configuring recurring client deliverables, assisting in the creation of new deliverables, monitoring data pipelines, investigating data and delivery issues, and working closely with data analysts and engineers to continuously improve RxVantage data operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Configure and maintain client-facing data deliverables
  • Monitor data pipelines and resolve issues and exceptions
  • Conduct data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights
  • Learn and understand the vision and objectives of the data product offering
  • Assist data and operations teams in understanding customer use cases and business objectives
  • Analyze and interpret business requirements
  • Develop competency and continuously enhance knowledge on data (domains, sources, use) relevant to RxVantage use cases
  • Gain insights into the business aspects of life sciences, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical industries to tailor data products that meet specific use cases
  • Engage cross-functionally as needed to fulfill assigned tickets
  • Contribute to ticket refinement by providing input on level of effort, missing requirements, and prioritization
  • Bring data to life through storytelling in a clear and meaningful way to audiences with mixed levels of technical expertise
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Execute on tickets in a fast-paced work environment
  • Influence and support the standards of excellence and best practices of analytics

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience and Education:
    • A Bachelor's degree in data analytics or a related field.
    • Or a minimum of 2 years experience in data analytics or operations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
    • Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Python) and data visualization tools
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
    • Understanding of data warehousing, data pipelines, and data modeling concepts preferred
    • Experience with MDM solutions preferred
  • Business Acumen:
    • Ability to understand data and data pipelines from the perspective of business use cases
    • Very organized with high attention to detail.
    • Good troubleshooting skills.
    • Focused on operational quality..
  • Communication Skills:
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data findings to diverse audiences
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
