Major Responsibilities
- Under general supervision of the Chief of Capital Strategic Initiatives, and coordinating closely with the Capital Integrated Data Solutions team, develop, bolster and maintain the Capital Division’s spatial data resources.
- Coordinate data collection for Capital Division, communicating with division staff to track project updates through design, procurement, construction and completion.
- Maintain organized documentation and scheduling for spatial data program.
- Monitor and facilitate data sharing from the Capital Division to other units within the Agency.
- Create presentations on spatial data issues for the division, including strategies for creation, maintenance, display and distribution.
- Collaborate with Division staff to capture capital project and asset data.
- Support the development of mapping and data initiatives that support stakeholders and programs throughout the agency.
- Facilitate regular meetings, report on project updates and foster collaboration across stakeholder groups.
- With support, create, modify and update vector data layers to reflect the portfolio of the Capital Division.
- Perform analysis on data to gather insights on Capital Program portfolio. Work in tandem with Capital Integrated Data Solutions teams to produce thoughtful suggestions on internal improvements and reforms.

- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
- Basic understanding of Geographic Information System (GIS) principles, data types and workflows or coursework in GIS. 2. Willingness to learn new skills, programs and systems. 3. Excellent computer and organizational skills proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. 4. Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills as needed.
